The reason for this site, although there are many fine informational websites about photography on the Internet, is that people ask me questions all the time about the many aspects of photography I am familiar with from my experience. I can't include everything about photography (for one thing, I don't know everything), but I will highlight the points that seem to be of greatest interest in my conversations.

My interests in photography are varied, but my favorite types of photography are landscape and wildlife. Both cover extremes, in that wildlife photography requires small and quick-handling cameras and telephoto lenses, while landscape photography begs for larger format film and wide angle lenses, although there are exceptions. I also do different types of panoramic photography, and cover that on its own page.

Concerning photographic equipment, I will show what I use and what works for me. Although there are many brands of photography equipment, what I use is my personal choice, and may or may not work well for you. Choose the options that best suit your workflow and comfort level. What is comfortable for me and has the features I like and use may be different for you.
